Twitter for business?
March 11, 2009
Here are Boomerang, we’re starting an experiment – Utilizing twitter to build our business. Over the course of the next few weeks, we will tweet and post on our findings, revelations, etc.
First Step: Create a twitter account and setup a profile. You can do the same by visiting www.twitter.com.
Second Step: Tweet (the act of updating your status, or sharing some information). We found it rather painless even if we weren’t sure why people would care what we were doing.
Third Step: Follow the good people. We found business associates, friends, old neighbors and some industry experts that we thought we’d follow. It’s nice to know what others are up to and what they find interesting. Plus, by following experts in our service fields, we get the most up-to-date info without having to spend all day scouring the internet for articles.
Next Steps: Tweet more and find more industry experts to follow. Our goal is two fold – 1) To establish our expertise in our service fields online & 2) To assist our SEO efforts through tweeting about relevant information.
Check us out on twitter here and follow us through the adventure – who knows, you could pick up a few good tips.
